I truly consider my job to be one of the best jobs in the world because I get the chance of a lifetime to capture the moments in life that are so precious and sacred.
My profession is to capture the moments that for the rest of your existence you want to relive again and again and again— I am so lucky.
But, I want to let you in on a secret. It’s something I’ve started to notice a little while back.
There are some sessions that seem to have a little more magic, a little more fierceness, adventure and thrill than others.
When a couple books me for an elopement wedding, they’re not just asking me to take pictures of their ceremony. These couples are asking for far more than that.
Now, don’t get me wrong, couples who choose to do traditional weddings are extremely brave as they stand face-to-face with anxiety, parent opinions, year trends and a billion decisions they need to make every day leading up to their wedding day. These couples love each other so much that they are willing to live through the chaos as long as it means they’re married to each other at the end of the day.

It’s about your relationship and each other, not about the stress of the day.
NO RULES. Eloping isn’t like how it used to be, it can be, or you can have a small intimate ceremony with your people and then have an epic adventure later on. Or no ceremony at all, just an epic location and someone that marries you. See, no rules.
Go as little or as big as you want
Make it an adventure, go somewhere you’ve been dying to experience together and bring me along to capture your authentic selves to have memories for a lifetime
Eloping isn’t about running away from the traditional-wedding-drama. Eloping is about intention, authenticity, adventure and value.
Let yourself be tempted to do an epic elopement wedding.
It’s one of the biggest blessings for me to be moving to one of the country’s most naturally gorgeous regions—Knoxville. And let’s not forget that it’s also a MAJOR hub for elopement weddings. Like I said earlier…I am so lucky.
I’m grateful to be living in the south where eloping is easy! Plus, the natural beauty of the state makes for gorgeous pictures. I’d love to chat about locations and possibilities.
