I’ve been doing this for twelve years. Yes, I know how to make beautiful photos and films, but I also know how to keep family photos painless, find good light anywhere, calm nerves, fix a timeline on the fly, and and give you enough direction that you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.
But what makes me different is that I care just as much about how your wedding feels as how it looks. What I care about most is the stuff you can’t really plan for.

I photograph weddings throughout Sacramento, Napa Valley, Sonoma, Lake Tahoe, and destinations beyond—working closely with planners to ensure the day unfolds smoothly and intentionally.
I spend the time listening and understanding what matters to you, so on your wedding day you’re not thinking about photos at all — you’re fully present with the people you love.
I know when to guide, when to step back, and how to protect the feeling of a moment while it’s happening — not just document it after.

Experience
The goal is simple:
You get to actually experience your wedding. I make sure you get to keep it.
I’m not going to show up on your wedding day and turn it into an eight-hour photoshoot.
Before the wedding, we’ll build a timeline that actually makes sense, figure out what matters most to you, and make a plan so you don’t have to think about any of it once the day starts.
Then I’ll step in when you need direction, wrangle everyone when family photos inevitably get a little chaotic, and disappear into the background when the moment is already perfect without me.
Your wedding gallery is going to be incredible.
But I don’t want the photos you waited months for to spend the next twenty years living in a folder on your phone.
Albums are for the photos your kids will flip through someday. The ones your parents keep on the coffee table. The ones that get a little worn around the edges because people actually look at them.

One of the hardest experiences I had with a wedding photographer was waiting for the sneak peeks. Only having cell-phone photos for a month and a half or a watermarked couple of screenshots to get me through was so hard.
That’s why I always give my clients 20 sneak peeks within 48 hours. I edit as quickly as I can and keep communicating with you after the wedding is over, so you know when those images are coming.

I know with the venue, the dress, and all the people celebrating you, it can seem like everything is important- but photography and videography is the ONLY thing you can take from that day.
