Marblegate Farm

Talk about a flawless southern wedding venue! Marblegate Farm is what my dreams are made of, and getting to capture this couple there was seriously magical! Around every corner there was something even more romantic than the last. Here are some of my favorite features of this gorgeous southern venue.

Waterfront

I love a good water feature! At Marblegate you have many options for what part of the water front you can entertain or getting married at. There are ponds within, as well as lakes surrounding, the property. The ponds are encased with gorgeous stones, and the gardens lining the ponds are seriously amazing! Also, a huge perk about this property is that there are sidewalks everywhere. It is so comfortable to walk around the lakes and ponds and not have to worry about you heels getting stuck in the grass.

Picture Perfect Fences

Want to know one of my favorite things about the south? White fences! They are absolutely dreamy no matter the season. Marblegate Farm has what seems to be an endless amount of white fences, and they are well-kept and bright white. No matter where you turn you have a picture perfect scene!

Horses

You guys! There are living, breathing horses on this property! They are stunning and majestic in every way, and I am pretty much convinced that every wedding needs a few horses in the background now. They are such a wow factor and even act as an activity for your guest, as they can meet and pet the horses over the fence. Marblegate Farm really is a southern dream and these gorgeous horses are just the cherry on top!

Gardens

Remember those gardens lining the waterfront that I mentioned? They are stunning! Absolutely lush, and well maintained for you wedding day! There is variety of trees, bushes and flowers that fill your entire venue, so no need to worry about as many outside decorations, mother nature (and Marblegate’s groundskeepers) has taken care of that for you!

The Barn

The shining star of Marblegate Farm has got to be their Barn. It is a huge space that is perfect for a large crowd to gather for a ceremony, to seat all of your guests for dinner, or to open up into a dance floor! The walls of the Barn grow tall until they become the arched ceiling. Twinkle light hang above, creating a whimsical space that is sure to set the mood for you wedding day!

Marblegate Farm is truly magical! There are so many details in the architecture and grounds that capture your attention, yet it all blends together well as a backdrop for your perfect southern wedding! I can’t wait to capture your wedding day at this timeless venue!
