I never expected to have my bride cut off 12 inches of her hair the morning before her wedding, it was so iconic. And then I got to capture such a dreamy, elegant Knoxville wedding.
Getting to know them in the beginning was so important and doing an engagement session with them was so important to me because I got to see the way that they interact with each other. We also got to try out a few poses before their big Knoxville wedding so we knew what was going to look best!
They got married at the Hiwassee Farm and it was right on the river. It was absolutely beautiful and Lexie used real rose petals throughout the aisle leading up to the gorgeous arch. This elegant Knoxville wedding was the thing of dreams.
Inside the barn, they use lots of gorgeous candles and greenery to create a beautiful moody setting, and I absolutely loved the way that the dark colors contrasted with her stunning white dress.
I loved the first look between her and her dad. It was so cute and the way that his mom cried while she put on the boutonniere was so sweet.
After the ceremony, we were able to do some gorgeous couple photos while the lighting was perfect. After that, we retired to the barn, where there was tons of dancing and delicious food. The DJ and the wedding planner were absolutely so much fun, and the night was such a success. We ended with a sparkler exit, and then these two ran off into the night.
