Knoxville Engagements

Carah and Seth were so much fun to hang out with, and their Knoxville engagements were a blast. I love getting to know my couples and their love story, and theirs is too cute not to share. These two are a perfect example of a couple that are truly best friends.

Their Story

At the beginning of my Knoxville engagements sessions, I like to ask my couples to tell their story. Seth and Carah shared how they met, at Baylor. Seth was looking for a quiet spot for some last minute studying when he saw Carah. He knew in that moment he had to talk to her, and introduce himself. His pickup line? “Are you a freshman?” I was dying!

Throughout their Knoxville engagements they reminisced on their days at Baylor together. Carah immediately lit up when she mentioned his smile that first day they saw each other. After chatting during their free hour, they went their separate ways only to reunite in class!

Next, Carah says, “We ended up sitting next to each other, and at the end of class I was so excited when Seth asked if I was going to the optional study session for the course that night. I wasn’t planning on going, but the cute smart guy in class was pretty convincing.” When Carah told me this part during their Knoxville engagements, my heart leaped. Shortly after hearing their story, I became obsessed. These two are so dang incredible.

After only knowing each other for 2 weeks and spending so much time together laughing, and getting to know each other they made things official. Carah and Seth’s relationship stood out to me because of the amount of time they were laughing during their Knoxville engagements session. They just genuinely love being around each other and are truly the each other’s best friend.

Their Knoxville engagements were some of my favorites because we were able to talk about their hopes and dreams for the future. Later, we asked them what they love about each other and just gushed for hours.

He Put a Ring on It!

Seth asked for Carah’s parents’ blessing at a brunch in Florida.  He later popped the question on a family trip while Carah was visiting his family. Next, the family went on a weekend trip to the San Juan Islands, the perfect spot for a dreamy proposal.
