Smoky Mountains Family Session

When I got an email from Jessica, who was trying to get some photos of her family, I was beyond excited! I knew exactly where I wanted to take them in the Smokies to capture timeless family photos. There are so many awesome spots in the Smoky Mountains that I adore, but I wanted to get those perfect views that you can only find at Foothills Parkway.

We headed up to the Foothills Parkway and we’re able to find some gorgeous views and lookouts. Jessica and her family had picked up some cute matching cowboy hats as well as some gorgeous boots. This added so much personality to her family photos! I love the Smoky Mountains, but add a few little cowboys and I die!

Couples Photos are a Must!

I also love the photos of just the two of them together! In every family session I do, I like to carve out some time to take pictures of just mom and dad. I feel like it is so important to have an updated photo of your relationship with your spouse. Plus, it always sparks a little bit of romance and as a wedding photographer I live for the romance!

The Foothills Parkway is one of my favorite locations because it has these gorgeous overlook points that really show off some of the best parts of the Smoky Mountains.
