When it comes to choosing a wedding venue, it can be hard to figure out which one suits not only your needs, but also your budget. Your choice of venue sets the entire tone for your wedding day. Whether you’re dreaming of rustic vineyard charm or luxurious modern elegance, Napa has a venue for every couple’s style. Here are four of my favorite spots (as someone who has captured countless weddings in this gorgeous region):
If you’ve ever dreamed of getting married in a castle, you don’t need to hop on a plane to Europe—Castello di Amorosa has you covered. This Tuscan-style winery brings all the romance with its stone walls, dramatic courtyards, and sweeping vineyard views. Plus, the photo ops are endless. Think: golden light filtering through arched windows and you and your partner framed by towering castle gates. It’s every bit as magical as it sounds! (Is it weird that I look up this venue like once every two weeks and just look at those rolling hills. They are stunning, and the architecture of the castle is everything. EVERYTHING.)
Known as Napa Valley’s oldest winery, Charles Krug Winery blends historic charm with modern amenities. Its sprawling grounds, elegant carriage house, and impeccable vineyard views make it a timeless choice. I adore photographing weddings here because it has that effortless balance of sophistication and warmth. Pro tip: schedule some golden-hour portraits on the lawn for jaw-dropping shots.
This space is perfect for couples that want to have a timeless space that feels both elegant and intimate at the same time.
For couples wanting a blend of Napa’s natural beauty and upscale luxury, Carneros Resort and Spa is a dream come true. Think private cottages for your guests, vineyard-lined ceremony spaces, and a chic reception barn that’s perfect for dancing the night away. Plus, the sunsets here are unreal. Trust me, your photographer (hi, me!) will love it just as much as you do.
Truly, truly…. book it. And then book me. 😉
Beaulieu Garden is the epitome of Napa Valley elegance. Its lush gardens, vine-covered pergolas, and bubbling fountains create an atmosphere that feels both intimate and grand. The shaded pathways and European-inspired touches make this spot feel like a secret garden tucked away in wine country.
I’ll share some more of my favorite venues throughout other posts, but I had to share my top four! If you’re looking for the best wedding venues in Napa Valley, look at these! If you’re looking for the best wedding photographer in Napa Valley, give me a call. 🙂
