David + Cora’s Little Family Session in The Great Smoky Mountains

One of my best friends since college messaged me to see if we could do a last-minute Great Smoky Mountains family photography session, of course, I was all in!! She and her husband have the sweetest little boy who’s just a little bit younger than my own daughter! I loved being able to do these pictures of the three of them, especially in these gorgeous Smoky Mountains.

Cora and I go way back, even before she met David! Seeing the way her family has grown and the relationship she has with David made me so happy. She has been one of my biggest supporters, and we actually met in the same photography class in college! So doing this family photography session with her was even more of an honor! 

Our Family Photography Adventure Among the Smokys

I love the way the water reflected the beautiful sunset and the color of the green summer trees. I have always had an obsession with soft and glowing sunset lighting and this session was full of it! Also, their color coordination is my new favorite thing. The neutral colors with a touch of blue are the perfect, most trendy outfit colors right now (check out more trendy combos here). It was so gorgeous doing this family session in the Smoky Mountains, plus they were so cute and snuggly!

Family photography is one reason why I love my job so so much, not to mention being able to take pictures in such beautiful spots, like the Smoky Mountains!
