COVID Can’t Stop Love

When COVID 2020 hit, I felt like so did everybody else’s wedding plans (thank goodness that wouldn’t stop David and Emery’s Outer Banks, Big Sur elopement and first looks)! 

It was so hard trying to figure out what to do for a big wedding. Lots of venues and catering companies closed. It ultimately felt like there was no hope but to reschedule. But man do I have some lovers who took this challenge and ran with it. Sometimes I feel like all of this has been a good thing. We have realized that those things we thought mattered actually don’t.

Timeless Big Sur First Look

I saw that in these two. Their Big Sur elopement was an absolute dream, filled with pure and genuine emotion. They decided they would use their precious wedding hours to do an emotional first look right on the Big Sur shoreline in Outer Banks. What could be better? Right!

 It was absolutely breathtaking being able to see David’s reaction to Emery when he saw her for the first time. They both had the biggest smiles. It was easy to tell how much this day meant to them! (Here’s the video if you want to check it out!)

We were able to take some gorgeous photos right at the Big Sur cliffs and right up the jagged rocks, as the water rushed in. It was absolutely beautiful.

After they shared some unforgettable moments together, we drove as quickly as we could up to the Big Sur cliff overlooks, which were some of my favorite photos right as sunset was hitting. The colors, sparkling waves, and emotion made it so incredibly gorgeous.
