This was definitely one of my favorite engagement sessions in the Smokies to date. We stopped at the Foothills Parkway then went straight to Cade’s Cove which is tucked back in The Great Smoky Mountains. Even better than the views, however, was getting to know Lexi and Sean! Their personalities and love are the definitions of perfection. Also, aren’t they just the cutest ever! Lexi found this stunning dress on sale for only 28 bucks. It honestly took my breath away when they jumped in the water and made for such a beautiful session.

They booked this adventure engagement session among the Smoky Mountains a couple of weeks before I would arrive in Tennessee, so we squeezed it in for an early morning. When they got up to where I was staying, I jumped in the car with them! We spent all morning getting to know each other.  They were honestly some of the sweetest people I have ever met. You could just tell how much they cared about each other. They both absolutely love The Lumineers and all the other types of music that I’m obsessed with, so the tunes were jamming as we drove down the road to the Foothills Parkway. 

The Great Smoky Mountain Views Have my Heart

On our way to the Smoky Mountains, we ended up pulling off a couple of times just so we can get some really gorgeous engagement shots on the way. Our pull-off points took us to overwhelmingly gorgeous mountain views and luscious green fields. Everywhere in the Smoky Mountains is breathtaking. You can honestly shoot everywhere. You don’t even need to go to Cades Cove or the Foothills Parkway for these kinds of views, but when we did, I was floored by the stunning blue rolling mountains. I want to take all my couples here to get these views! Also, can I just say, I am overjoyed that this will only be 40 minutes from my house!

I cannot wait for their wedding in October. I’m hoping that we can do another bridal session so we can see Lexie’s absolutely stunning wedding dress in the Smoky Mountain views!
