I can’t believe how quickly I clicked with these two. We went from being perfect strangers to basically planning these two’s wedding. What I love about these two is that they met a  few years ago and they’re still so giddy about each other. What is so romantic and cute about them is that he just so easily picks her up and snuggles her at every opportunity.

We did our session at the Ijams nature center. We met there early in the morning, on a brisk January morning, and walked down to the water there. It was freezing, but it was so fun seeing these two brave the storm to celebrate their love in such a fun way. we started walking the gorgeous trail and that’s when I feel like they got more comfortable with me.

As I got to know their story it was so fun being able to see them shine as they talked about each other. they talked about all the fun memories they have together and the way that they have gone from the most extroverted fun college kids to those who love to stay at home and cuddle.

Here’s some fun facts about these two:Me and Cole are actually from the same hometown but didn’t meet until we had a college math class together and immediately hit it off. Study sessions led to dates and dates led to Cole asking me to be his girlfriend and that was almost 3 years ago, it’s been history ever since!

What was the session like for you? Anything special or unique that made you have a good experience?: 

Absolutely loved the enthusiasm. Our session was filled with laughs and giggles. It felt very natural and comfortable and I feel like we could truly be ourselves.

What do you feel kind of defines the fun part of your relationship?:

Friendship. We’re not only a couple but we’re best friends more than anything. We know every detail about one another and just really get each other.

Favorite thing to do together?: Travel to new places!

Posing them was so easy, because they were just so relaxed and comfortable with each other. Walking around the quarry was so breathtakingly beautiful. I loved these big steps and how they were covered with moss. I think it’s so fun to do more of a formal session in moody environments because it adds a layer of fun and drama.
