Everything about the Smoky Mountains is absolutely wonderful! Babbling brooks, towering hardwood trees, serene trails, outstanding views, the list goes on! With so much going on in this National Park a bride can get a little overwhelmed on what photos she wants in her wedding album. So, I decided to share with you my top 5 photos that you need on your Smoky Mountain Wedding Day!

Fog

The Smoky Mountains were named after the gorgeous fog that floats over their peaks and through their valleys. This kind of fog makes you feel like you are in heaven on earth. It creates the most angelic and whimsical feel for your bridals. And I love how the light filters through the low clouds. It seriously makes every moment of your Smoky Mountain wedding that much more magical and memorable!

Cabin

The Smoky Mountains have a ton of quaint cabins scattered throughout the park. Each one holds a unique beauty of it’s own which I love! Also, taking photos with the cabins on your Smoky Mountain wedding day allows you to go back and visit the exact spot that you took your wedding photos! So, if you are one of my sentimental brides, you can’t pass this spot up!

Forest

I have photographer in a number of National Parks across the United States, and none of them measure up to the Smoky Mountains forest! Some of the most stunning hardwood trees in the nation are located here. The forest is rich with tall trees. And is the perfect compliment to any bride! Basically, the forests in the Smokies are to die for!

Stream

Is there anything more romantic than standing in the middle of a stream on your wedding day?! You guys, this is what romance novels are made of! It is seriously a dream, and on your Smoky Mountain wedding day, it can be all yours! Whether you are ready to dive in and get soaked, or stay dry with water surrounding your feet, the streams in the Smokies have a place for you!

Moss

One of my all time favorite things about the Smokies is how mossy it is! Bright green moss is scattered through out the forest creating a stunning and fairytale vibe for your wedding pictures. I personally love to have detail shots on the moss, it is just so pretty, especially ring shots! The stones really pop against the moss, it truly is stunning.

The Smoky Mountains have such a special place in my heart! I just love bringing my couples there, because there is beauty at ever turn. And watching my brides light up as they explore the streams and trails reminds me of how magical it is.
